ZHAO Weidong

Born in April 1970, PhD, Chief Physician, recognized as a Jianghuai Famous Doctor in its fourth edition. He is the Administrative Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Zhao has published over 40 papers, including more than 10 SCI papers, and has applied for 8 patents. He has undertaken 7 national and provincial-level projects and received first, second, and third prizes in the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards.

Academic Achievements and Impact

Dr. Zhao has dedicated nearly 30 years to teaching and researching gynecological tumors and reproductive tract diseases, having trained 45 PhD and master's students. He received the first prize in the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020, the second prize in 2009, and the third prize in 2006. He has published over 10 SCI papers in journals such as ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, BioMed Research International, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, and Frontiers in Oncology, with a total citation count of over 100.
