Personal Profile
Dr. Huafeng Zhang obtained Ph. D degree from University of Tokyo in Japan in 2004. She went on for her postdoctoral study in National Cancer Institute of NIH from 2004 to 2005, studying protein dynamics. From 2005 to 2010, she worked in the laboratory of Dr. Gregg Semenza in Johns Hopkins University to study hypoxia and cancer development. Her major achievements include multiple highly-cited papers in the field of cancer research. She has published more than 40 research papers that are cited more than 3000 times by peer scientists. She is also joint-appointed as a faculty member at Division of Bio-X Interdisciplinary Sciences, Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Science at Microscale.
